Mr. Kolb's legal career spans over 46 years, and includes service as the Solicitor for the Third Judicial Circuit (elected chief prosecutor for Sumter, Clarendon, Lee and Williamsburg Counties, South Carolina). Mr. Kolb handles the following types of cases:

Wade S. Kolb, Jr., established the firm in 1998 after a 23 year career as a criminal prosecutor, including serving four terms as the elected Solicitor for the Third Judicial Circuit (Sumter, Clarendon, Lee, and Williamsburg Counties).


As Solicitor, he personally prosecuted thousands of criminal cases and supervised a staff of thirty employees, including eleven assistant solicitors.  


Mr. Kolb is a 1974 graduate of the University of South Carolina Law School (JD), and a 1971 graduate of the University of South Carolina (BS in Business Administration).  He is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of South Carolina and before the US District Court.  He has been recognized as an outstanding and experienced personal injury trial lawyer and criminal defense trial lawyer.


A lifelong resident of Sumter County, Mr. Kolb is active in numerous legal and community organizations, including the Sumter Rotary Club, and the Sumter Chamber of Commerce.
